Why Med Spas

As of this writing in January of 2017, the number of Med Spas has quadrupled in the last 10 years.  Why are they gaining such popularity? The first and foremost answer to that question resides in the technological advancements of the lasers that are used to power the industry. From laser hair removal to freckles and birth mark removal and now to fat removal, technology has supplied the industry with the ability to achieve truly remarkable results without having to resort to expensive surgeries and long downtimes and to achieve these results safely and with little to no discomfort. You could get traditional liposuction with a plastic surgeon. There will be anesthesia, weeks of pain, you will have to pay the doctor, the anesthetist, and the center where you have the surgery. Lastly, the treatments available today have very little risk associated with them.  I wouldn't say it's impossible for anything to go wrong with the two med spa treatments mentioned above but it would be extremely rare, especially when compared to their surgical counterparts.
